Washington state has not had many venues, but one hill, Maryhill is superb! In my research it appears that the first event in the state was the one at Umtanum Ridge near Yakima. It was a short 1.1 mile dirt course that ended after just one year with some controversy. Maryhill is the survivor of the group, having been organized and run by three separate groups. It continues on today as both a Vintage only climb, and an NHA event that is held 2 times yearly.
