Idaho

Idaho is home to one of the longest running hillclimbs in the west. Freezeout Hillclimb near Emmett began in 1967 and continues to this day. It did take a break the last two years, but is expected to return this year in 2026. Keep your fingers crossed. It is an exciting climb on 1.65 miles snaking up through an ever growing housing area. It is run on “Old Freezeout Road” – no it is not cold there in June!
